“I have been working with Daune Turner @newdaunestrength for over a year now. I have Parkinson's disease, and the most straightforward way to explain why she is awesome is that she genuinely cares.

She helps me challenge myself, while acknowledging and respecting some of the inherent limitations I am unable to overcome, and pushing me in areas where I can be stronger so that I am at less risk of falling. Simply stated, I feel so much better than I did before I met her.I am stronger. I am more stable. I fall less. SHE HAS ADDED YEARS TO MY LIFE,

If you are thinking to yourself - only people who lack discipline need to hire a personal trainer, I challenge you to think again. There are a few things I would say to anyone who is looking for or considering Daune as a coach.

1) Waking up with stiffness and pain every day means that no amount of discipline or motivation will get me into the gym for a solid workout as frequently as I need to go to feel my best. It helps to have a coach who is a FRIEND too. I see her other clients on my way in and out of the gym, and it is pretty obvious she has this relationship with them, too.

2) Working out with Daune is EFFICIENT. It allows me to get 90-120 minutes of intense exercise completed in 60 minutes because I don't have to remember how much weight I need for an exercise, think about what exercise should be next, or move to different parts of the gym for each exercise (she brings it to me if possible)
.
3) She pushes me in a very supportive, but firm way that helps me unlock that NEXT LEVEL I didn't know I was capable of, and makes sure I have the correct form so I can avoid injury and get results.
